About Elizabeth

Elizabeth J. Nahum founded the New Avalon Centre in 1984. Her life-long inquiry into the science of spirituality is reflected in the exploration of alternative spiritual pathways and healing modalities. Elizabeth has devoted 40 years of work to researching and teaching the science behind the ancient mystery schools' doctrines, including the Avalonian/Druidic Philosophy and Western Esoteric Philosophy.

Elizabeth is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Past Life Regression Therapist and certified instructor who trains and certifies professionals through The National Guild of Hypnotists and the Hypnosis Research and Training Center. A Reiki Master and certified Herbalist, she is also a Bach Flower Remedy Counselor and Therapeutic Touch practitioner. Elizabeth is certified in the reduction of Tinnitus symptoms as well as other chronic illness symptoms, and has helped to pioneer a new, integrated, effective approach to healing.

An internationally successful teacher, Elizabeth has shared her expertise by leading classes in initiatory sciences, psychic development, psychic protection, meditation, dynamic awareness, women’s mysteries, the western esoteric tradition, mysteries school science through the ages and across cultures,medicinal and land dowsing, medicinal herbalism and medicine making, the four element system of energy balancing, the use of ritual and ceremony in everyday life and self-hypnosis for harmonious well-being.

As a healing practitioner, Elizabeth creates a safe and nurturing environment where clients can experience profound life changes and learn to fulfill their own spiritual journeys.

Elizabeth's sensitivity to subtle energies bodies has always guided her career and her interests. Her inherited gift of subtle energy perception, from both maternal and paternal grandmothers, has led her to a career of service through healing.

With a B.A. in Psychology from City College of New York, Elizabeth did her graduate work in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She has studied advanced meditation techniques with Samuel Sagan at the Clairvision School, and continues to study and apply the science of Dr. Ibrahim Karims’ Bio-geometry.
